Spooky hand-drawn Metroidvania adventure
Ghost Song is a premium action game for PC by developer Old Moon. It is a side-scrolling adventure inspired by Metroidvania games. It features hand-drawn art and takes place on a desolate moon wherein players emerge from a deep slumber, confused and without any idea of their purpose.
Similar to Crowsworn or Hollow Knight, Ghost Song has a dark and atmospheric presentation that lends itself to its equally spooky and mysterious narrative. It features an interconnected world to explore and a variety of creatures to face, and players can try the game when it releases on November 4, 2022.
Biomechanical world
Ghost Song takes place on the desolate moon of Lorian. In it, you control a Deadsuit that awakens from its long and deep slumber. You are fully armed and ready for battle, yet you have no purpose or directive. As such, you will be making your way down below the surface in search of answers while exploring ancient alien ruins and hidden mysteries along the way.
Combat in this game revolves around the use of your rapid-fire blaster to fire at enemies at range. You will slowly build up barrel heat as you fire away, but this normally negative aftereffect is put to good use as it fuels your special melee attacks. Enemies will take the form of alien creatures that are a cross between a fungal substance with metal husks.
You'll soon discover evidence of a ship crash and realize you're not alone. Meet a group of characters that find themselves stranded, each with their own story. Find the truth of what happened to them and the reason why you awoke. As of this writing, the game is not out yet, but you can wishlist it to stay updated on any upcoming news and announcement.

All in all, Ghost Song is an eerie Metroidvania game with a hauntingly beautiful and captivating art style. Its world is expansive and combat is solid, with diverse enemies to face.
